Welcome to The Riverwood Studio Website!
My name is Kimberly Carver and I have been a Vocal Performance Educator, Wedding Soloist and Choral Director for over twenty six years. I have also directed, produced and choreographed dozens of musical productions for my current school as well as other area high schools and community theatre groups. The educational practice CD's, MP3's and Sight Singing Practice Method books I have created should not replace the guidance of you...the teacher, but allow you to bypass the drilling of notes enabling you to work directly with creating music with your student. Our audio CD's and MP3's are an excellent way for the student to learn from and practice with before meeting with the teacher to further their performance capability.
Since I too am a high school choral director, I am sympathetic to the fact that we, as educators, have very little time in our daily school schedule to truly aid each and every student in our program. As vocal educators we understand the importance of the valuable knowledge that our singers can obtain by strengthening their vocal instrument. We know too, that students who perform solos gain self-confidence and in turn this positively reflects upon our own school programs.
